Blending? What you need to Know

You now have some Essential Oils in your home, oh no? Now what? What can you do to use them more efficiently, create blends, and how to use them. Some simple but basic things that you need to know.


First, what are you trying to use the blend for, would you like to reduce stress, will it be for scars, cuts, allergies, or are you in need of something for pain? I suggest you write down a few things that you want to improve in your lifestyle, as well as your families. What issues would you like to improve on. Are you also looking to create a more toxin free lifestyle.


Once you know what you want - now comes the fun part. Since the start of my journey with Essential Oils, I say Google has become my best friend.


My "besty"


Research, searching for the things I need to improve, or for what I would like. Just typing in - ex. Essential Oils for stress... what can I use to help fall asleep?


Easy, yes it is. Don't get to overwhelmed.


If you have some oils around once you begin you will also find that the scents may either really work for you - or some may not. Remember everyone is different. Some like the uplifting oils, lemon, grapefruit, clary sage, and there is also minty oils like peppermint, cypress, spearmint, wintergreen. Also many floral scents. Finding the combinations that work together, for you and what the benefits of each, once again turn to Google or many of the incredible books out on the market on the subject.

My preference is Alomond or Fractionated Cocumt Oil - What's your's?

Start slow, have fun, and enjoy the scents of the different oils. There is so much to learn about Essential Oils but the benefits are so.....worth it
